Film At 11: Mattiel

Mattiel will release the “Whites Of Their Eyes” special-edition white seven-inch tomorrow via Burger Records. Since we know you can’t wait, we’re thrilled to share with you the premiere of her new video for the song. Filmed in the warm regions of California and Georgia in April, the clip stars Mattiel as she shoots off fireworks, gets attacked with eggs and so much more. Says Mattiel of the video, “The crew consisted of me, Jason Travis and a very cooperative horse named Webster. For several years, Jason and I worked together on a design team in Atlanta, and we would collaborate on visual content and advertisements. Nowadays, we frequently rely on each other for feedback on our own creative endeavors. I had the absolute time of my life making this with him, and I’m so thankful to have worked with such a receptive person who really knows how to execute an idea on a shoestring budget.” Watch the clip below.
